The most influential bulls that have left their mark on the Brysgaga herd:-











Seisiog Prince 3rd - Champion bull at Dolgellau, a good stockgetter which left strong female traits such as good udders, milkiness and longevity.










Penywern Seraff 18th - Broke the BREED RECORD at Dolgellau as a young bull. Weighing 1350kg as a mature bull, he introduced size, power and character into the herd.  With top bloodlines throughout his pedigree, Seraff was one of the most influential sires in the history of the Welsh Black Cattle Society.











Penywern Seraff 18th sired over thirty stock bulls, one of the most famous being, Brysgaga Seraff 26th, used extensively at both the Rhys and Caerynwch herds.











Llandre Llewelyn - winner of the cow and calf class with his dam at the Royal Welsh Show, Llewelyn brought length and excellent hind quarters when put on the daughters of Penywern Seraff 18th.












One of Llewelyn’s sons was Brysgaga Brenin 44th used extensively as an AI sire.











Ysguboriau Bleddyn 13th - Purchased at Dolgellau for 2700gns, and out of one of the top female lines at Ysguboriau.  He weighed 1200kg as a mature bull.  A show winner, with a tremendous hind leg, a powerfull bull, full of breed character.
